Food in the area!

Tried two new restaurants this week. Seasons Sushi and Buffet. Not worth the time or money even though resonably priced Sushi was terrible and buffet was mediocre.

Carolina Grill was slow service but very good food. Service was good but slow, reminded me or my time in the south the last few weeks. Food was excellent, the ribs did have a toothy bite to them, did not fall off the bones, like us northerners are use to, but flavor was good on everything that was tried. Prices were good. 5.99 for a sandwich, 9.99 for a pulled pork meal, 14.00 for a half rack of ribs and half a chicken. Will eat here again.

  1. We will go back to Carolina Grill again. Trying a new restuarant with a large group is probably never a great idea, but they got the job done and I felt like they were genuinely trying. You're Right about the ribs, don't know if we would order them again, the flavor was really good, just not the way we like our ribs. But there are lots of other things on the menu to try.

  2. Yes we did have 14 people and a baby at the table, so it was a large group. They did try very hard to get things done. I am looking forward to trying other items also. The menu was classical sourthern bbq, lots of these types of restaurants in the south.

  4. We had their ribs at the Rib Cook Off in Lima and thought everything was very good. We brought a whole rack of ribs home and some of their brisket. I can't wait till we make it to the restaurant.
