Well four of your favorite people survived Scrapbook Bootcamp.
Several of us traveled to the hills of central Ohio to scrap for the weekend.
We started on Friday morning, ate breakfast in the large metropolis of Upper Sandusky.
Next we jouneyed on to Marion, OH where we found a nice Scrapbook Store called A2Z. It has a banner on the upper building which says Mad Scrapper, but is under new owner.
I know the Mad Scrapper use to be located down town, so I was never at the store at the shopping center so don't know how similar it is to the last Mad scrapper.
The A2Z store is small but very nice. Lots of new type products that I had not seen before.
We than ventured thru Mt Vernon, Ohio and to the east we went, up and down and all around we traveled to the great small community, you may either call, Dannville or Milltown or near Howard or whatever. You are now visiting rural Ohio, with beautiful scenery, lots of farms, small stores at crossroads, beautiful new schools and a really nice, large, friendly, scrapbook store.
We really had a great time, lots of space to crop, lots of product, both old and new, many new friends.
Mark you calendars, we are planning on going back in May, (if not before) for National Scrapbook Day, so if you would like to join us, it is Scrapbooking Bootcamp!
You get to get up early, go to bed late, eat on schedule, have fun, be abused, make new friends, copy lots of inspiration, and scrap, scrap, scrap.
I even snuck off for a short walk one morning, crisp, beautiful accelerating walk. (I was concerned about the penality for this as this wasn't on the schedule: ).
So keep in mind this was a terrific weekend, save your money, (lots of shopping) and join us at
Scrapbook Haven in May for Patti's 10 Anniversary and National Scrapbook Day, space is limited to 25 so make your decision soon.
